The Galaxy A73 5G features a smooth minimalist back and a single tone color scheme. The camera island protrudes neatly from the back making for a visually pleasing design. On the front, the device gets a near edge to edge 6.7-inch FHD+ Super AMOLED 120Hz Infinity-O panel with a punch hole cutout in the top center screen and super thin bezzles.
The Galaxy A73 5G comes with Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 778G chipset with a 2.4GHz and 1.8GHz Octa-core processor. The device gets a microSD card slot which supports up to 1TB of memory expansion, however, the device does not have a 3.5mm headphone jack. The device runs Android 12 based OneUI 4.1 out of the box and comes with a 5,000mAh battery which supports 25W fast charging but has no charger included in the box.
The camera includes a primary sensor of 108MP with f/1.8 aperture and OIS support, 12MP Ultrawide camera sensor with f/2.2 aperture, a 5MP macro camera with f/2.4 aperture and a 5MP depth sensor plus a 32MP front camera with f/2.2 aperture. The chieset allows for the camera to fuse 12 images for improved Night mode shots whle also using two cameras in Portrait mode for a cleaner separation between subject and background.
The Galaxy A73 5G is rated IP67 for dust and water resistance and also features a Gorilla Glass 5 on the front display.
